Hello imperator,

I'm a big fan of your sprites, and using FLICster and GIMP I've put together two sprite packs that feature them heavily for two Paradox games.

The first is for 'For the Glory', which if you don't know is a fan-produced version of the classic game 'Europa Universalis II'

It has four levels of sprites - for Late Medieval, Renaissance, 18th Century and Napoleonic. I've used your sprites for all the Renaissance and 18th-Century units in Europe, and your units make up the majority of the European sprites in the Late Medieval period.

I've also used some of your Indian and African sprites, and some of the ones posted on this thread are representing the Ottomans and the Arabs.

At the same time, I've used your First World War early infantry sprites for that particular scenario in 'Darkest Hour', which is a fan-produced version of 'Hearts of Iron 2'.

Unfortunately, I could only use one colour for the shading, and in some cases I've removed the Civ colours or darkened them.

Anyway, I'm including a few screenshots for you to have a look at. Sorry for the links to imageshack, but I was unable to upload the screenshots directly.

I'd also like to ask your permission to post the sprite packs up on the Paradox forums so that other players can use them. Of course, I would make sure that the main credit went to you.

By the way, I'm not associated with Paradox in any way, I'm just a player.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot imperator! I'll post the Darkest Hour (WWI) sprites up over the weekend and let you know what the response is. I'm sure that it will be good.

I was just about to post and say that I couldn't find the Janissary pikemen, when I saw that I had already asked that question in this thread and been answered some time ago. :p

I was not, however, able to find the pcxs for the Ottoman Late Medieval Swordsman. Could this also be in another folder or maybe it's missing?

In any case, thanks again for the great pack, Imperator! I know you are busy with WW2 but I am enjoying all the Early Modern units that you've made.

Well, I have found the files. What is the Janissary you need? 16th or 17h century? As for the Late medieval Ottoman Swordsman you're right there arent' the .pcx so I will do they.

The Janissary 16th and 17th century pikemen are not with the other janissaries, but actually in the Lybian Kuloglu Late 19th C folder in OTTOMANS V. So at first, I though they were missing altogether.

Thanks for checking the files. I am glad they weren't lost.

Imperator, could you please add Ottoman LM Swordsman pcx, as they are still not in downloads for the main pack or missing pediaicons? Thanks a lot!
