Experience Points Needed for Archmage?

Hi,

I've been trying to find how many experience points are needed to promote a mage to archmage? Could someone help please?

It is not XP that matters, but levels. To upgrade to an archmage requires level 6. That means actually spending 26 experience points, unless you have the Charismatic trait which reduces the requirement by 25 percent.

Don't forget that you also need access to reagents.

Ahhhhhhhh. Reagents. In my current game, I've conquered most of the world but still found no reagents. Thanks.
