FF Problem

Whenever I click a download link, it takes me to a blank page of the download but it never starts. I can Right Click and Save as but that doesn't work for all downloads so I find myself having to load IE or Opera in order to download some things. Uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing, because I've done that many times. Happened on both F2 and FF3. It started when I installed some download manager add on but I've since removed it a while ago and I don't recall which it was.

Did you try safe mode and disable all addons? Maybe one of your addons don't cooperate.

Do you have a download manager installed? If so, it may not be picking up on the download, or worse it may be being blocked by the website. I regularly have that problem with GetRight.

Also, there may be something in about:config, although I wouldn't mess with it unless you know what you doing.
