Finally Won A Game

I want to thank this forum for all the helpful advice, tips, strategies, guides, and other resources. Because of all this valuable stuff, I was able to win my first game of Vix Populi ever on Prince with Portugal. I was trying for a scientific victory, but ended up getting Diplomatic instead on T424. Now I just have to figure out how to win about 100 turns earlier, because that took forever!

May I ask you what was the map type, map size and the number of AIs.

AIs: 7 (Poland, Dutch, Maya, Celts, Spain, Ottomans, Carthage)

Congrats, that's great to hear! I find a ton of the fun of strategy games is figuring stuff out; learning new systems or interactions between systems in a complex way, and making it work, especially in overcoming a good challenge

Regarding it taking too long, you actually managed to diplo vic slightly faster than the AI does on average!
