A big thank you to everyone here. I told my gf I was going to win in the first half of the game, and she said, "Well, it looks like all those online tips are paying off!" Couldn't say it better myself.
Prince/Fractal/Normal/Louis XIV
Nice green land between Isabella, Hatcheftsut, and Huayna C.
Blocked HC and Izzy early, limiting them to 3 and 5 cities respectively. Backfilled until my economy crashed hard, but climbed out with rep+caste. Huge production advantage allowed me to take out Izzy and get my buddist holy city with cats/axes, used same army to take out HC after adding some maces (thanks for the wonders!). Hatty volunteered vassalization. Then had a run of 3 consecutive golden ages (one from Taj). By the end of 36 turns of hilarious GA fun, I had a humming state property economy, and upgraded to infantry/cannons/cavalry to run over brennus and pacal in about 20 turns, cities popped borders and earned me a domination victory. (Shaka was alive but backward on an island.)
