Great general question

I was playing the new patch with Wu zetian. But i noticed that when my units gained xp the great general points did not go up? Is there a reason for this?

You do not get GG points progress by fighting barbarians.

Ah thanx. it diddnt progress past 30 points. I guess problem solved.
