Great Library issue

I don't know if this is a bug or not, or even Conquests specific or not. But if the free techs you get from the GL put you into the Middle Ages, and you're scientific, so you get Feudalism for free, whatever tech you were researching starts over.

Maybe this is known and the way it's meant to be. Had been slow-rolling the Republic, and suddently went from 3 to 34 turns needed, without changing any sliders.

Maybe when you got Feudalism you agreed to change government (e.g. by pressing wrong button)?
