Looking to slip past the Allies ASW destroyer screens and break out into the deep Atlantic Ocean the U-69 slips by a US ASW DD and the CW ASW DD Javelin. On it's way to the open freedom of Allied shipping the U-69 spots an American Task force containing Troop Transports. The commander of the U-69 decides the sinking of the Troop Transport is more important and moves in for the kill. At the last minute the ASW DD spots the U-69 and they close for battle.

The battle with US DD knocks out the U-69's torpedo tubes and forward gun. A hasty call is put out for any U-boats within range to close in an sink the Transport.

U-Boat Command takes a chance and dispatches the damaged U-201 which has yet to under go well needed repairs. The damaged U-201 limps into battle looking for a lucky break against the lone Transport.

Sorry E it was one ASW DD and one transport. They where about 12 tiles West/Southwest of Bordeaux. As far as I can remember.

I was going to disband the U-201 since it's been damaged for several turns and you guys kept bombing it in port so it has not healed up yet. I took a shot in the dark on that attack instead of disbanding the sub and caught a lucky break on that one. I was sure it was going to be sunk by the transport and was so surprised when it did not!

Typhoons are auto produced every 6 months. The reason you don't have any now is because the
last typhoon season went on 4 months too long. So typhoons which should have been held in port
till the next season got sent out to sea and then I disbanded them.
