Sory if I gave that impression; I was obliquely referring to the paranoia among large sections of the Western media as to how Al- Qaeda may already have a nuclear bomb at its disposal and ready to use at any time, and connecting it up to the belief that Nazi Germany, without the American industrial base, financing and no. of scientists, would have hit upon a workable nuclear device that would have made a difference in the war...
