How does it run on... an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

Any laptop owners out there with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card? I would like to know how the game is running for you, to help my purchase of a new laptop. (Civ is the extent of my only PC gaming.)

I'm looking at a model with a 5650 and a Intel Core i5 460M(2.53GHz) processor.

Go for it ! , i have a laptop with i3 , 3gb ram , and 5650 1gb , and i am playing it on dx11 all on high(maximum) ,with only tesselation on medium . It runs perfectly playable , it lags a bit in the later game , but otherwise it is smooth .I payed 700$ on the laptop , so 5650 is clearly one of the best price/performance cards !

Okay, but here's the kicker... I want to export to a 1920 x 1080 res monitor. Am I still in the clear?

With full hd you should lower your graphic settings to medium .But, you still can play in 1366x 768(or 1280x720) on high and it would look better than in full hd.

My ATI 512MB Mobility Radeon 4570 with 2.4 duel core with 4GB RAM works fine with large maps, and medium settings, I tried a huge map, which after a while started lagging alot.
