Installed .4, Missing Units

I installed .4 (full version) and now I can no longer see any of the units. The info and picture shows up on the left, but on the map there is nothing.
Any ideas other than totally re-install Civ & Bts?

I have a similar problem, though it occured not after I've installed 4.0, but after I've installed the k patch.

What's more, I also can't see the units in standard BtS now. And the fog of war is absent, which is of course a smaller problem ;P [the black fog over unexplored terrain did not disappear]
