Whaaaaat? You mean companies like money?!! Amazing.
Anyways, the problem isn't just steam, Firaxis is there to blame too.
Do you remember when Civ IV came out? It was jammed pack of bugs and crashes and everything else under the moon. Have you stopped to think that maybe the problem isn't with steam, but with the game itself?
Right now my problem is whenever I try to start a game, the narrator audio for the leader starts to skip like a record, and then the game crashes (I am thinking it is something to do with map generation maybe?)
But honestly, if you are going to not like the game, don't like it because it was a buggy release, not because of 'steam'.
