Keep the same map, but new game?

Hey! I was wondering if it was possible to play a new game on a certain randomly generated map that I've played on before. I ask this because I have certain games where I just love the map and want to play on it again, but with different civilizations and other settings. If there is a way for this, I haven't found it in my 100 + hours of playing.

Go to the save game option in the menu; therein, you will find on the left hand side a "Save Map" option. Name the map whatever you want and it will show up on your list of maps when setting up a new game.
