The newly discovered dinosaur is a close relative of gigantic dinosaurs that lived during the same time in Argentina, which supports the idea that all of the continents were still assembled as Pangea, a supercontinent made up of most of the world's land mass during the Early Jurassic.

I don't recall seeing this reported over here at all. Very cool. Interesting evolutionary hiccup there, with the odd leg design.

I could have done without the South African Govt Minister crowing about this discovery as if being the place where some bones were found was some sort of scientific triumph though.
