The problem is that if I take Nox Noctis from Auric, he'll become enraged and won't sign a peace treaty with me before war with Lord of Fire starts. I'm going to find out where Nox Noctis is and see if it pays.

It was mentioned months ago, but it's worth restating:

You'll lose to the Amurites unless you can kill their most powerful casters.

You need some Marksmen, probably Assassins, though Shadows are great. Obviously they can't hide from Deis Dei, but you can just keep them with your other forces.


Nox Noxis is very powerful, but unless you are sure you can take it relatively easily it's not as good as having Auric on your side in the war...

Also, in theory one of the strengths of Elves is a giant economy. Even if you are weaker right now, MAYBE you can outproduce him in the long run. But you'd need to get on that right now.

Definitely go for Air if you haven't already. Sounds like some giant stacks are coming, and whittling them down with Maelstrom is basically a must now.
