Lost 6 citizens

I left the game the usual way and on my way back I had 9 citizens left (instead of 15) when I was leaving. Also, my science, production, food and culture values were wrong and I got a few additional great people.
Give me back my people!

Players at 2k forum are also complaining about losing citizens.
But all 3 games I'm in, my cities didn't suffer from population losses.
A weird situation.

I lost 6 pop as well and almost all my gold in addition. I got 5 random great people in return...
