[NFP] Modding heroes

I really like the heroes mode and wonder if the hero list can be modded to introduce more heroes in the game. However, I don't see any heroes mods in the workshop. I am not good at coding. Can someone help me to answer these two questions: is there any limitation to modding the heroes? How moddable are the heroes? Thanks in advance!

Bump ^ I thought this would've been a huge thing for this mode and I am curious what are the limitations (is it that lack of access from Firaxis to that code?) (Are people secretly working on it and it's just taking time?), and if it's not moddable by code new abilities, is it possible to reskin and relabel the heroes (surely there must be interest in a Fire Emblem, GoT, LoR, or some fantasy series where heroes take center stage for a simple reskin if it was possible). If anyone can answer this, even if it's just a simple "no" or "it's not currently possible" that would be greatly appreciated.
