An MP game seems to be running a bit more smoothly than PTW, but still there are a few hickups:

Occasionally, and for me more often than not, if techs are being traded in an MP game the game will lag or even freeze for 5 seconds. If the connectivity of the players isn't too great it might even go totally unstable. It happens right after the two parties have accepted the trade offers.

Also the "Out of Sync" happens regularly...still. A recall a game in which someone built a city and it went OOS because of that. Reloading that turn and rebuilding that city again would still make the game go OOS. Happily loading the resynch.sav will solve the problem. But it shouldn't be happening in the first place.
