Need Some Help With My New PC

I finally got a new PC today, but alas, I am having a problem.
Every time I connect to the internet, it connects fine. Then after about 10 minutes or so, it automatically disconnects me. I have never had this problem with my old computer and am still using the same ISP, so I do not think it as issue with them.

Does anyone have an idea about what is causing this?

What kind of internet are you using? And when it disconnects, does it give you any signs or anything? Have you tried to troubleshoot?

I am using dialup. 56k.
No signs that I have noticed, but I think the files I have downloading start to slow down.

There is an auto-disconnect option. Look in tools / options in internet explorer, and I think its under "connection".


Edit: Actually, its under "Dial-Up settings" I think...

Could it be the firewall?

Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections

Ok, but what under that?

Select your dial-up account, and choose "settings". Somewhere on one of those tabs is a "auto-disconnect after XXX minutes" checkbox. Turn that off.
