newbie mp question

whats the best way to find mp games for bts? i installed gamespy conrade cant seem to find a way of installing bts as it only has ci4 and warlords on the list. and how do i get pitboss goin?

most MP games are in the gamespy lobby. just start BTS and go to multiplayer internetgames.

As to the pitboss question, you need to recruit your players before you begin. After you have a player roster just run the pitboss.exe and follow the prompts. It's pretty intuitive.

Other things you should do as a host/server:

Negotiate with the players to establish written rules and the map/game settings.

Enter your SMPT info in pitboss so that players get auto-email turn notifications.

Run Civstats for your game. This program is extremely useful.

Do frequent game file saves in case of the need to reload.

Keep your pitboss game up 24/7.
