I'm not sure if I can call a fail O-line and dropping easily catchable passes "good defensive coaching". I'll admit the coaching for the Pats were great, but there were a lot of passes that just should not have been dropped for easy 1st downs. And that O-line, sheesh!

The offensive line was awful, also the Pats started almost all of their drives near midfield or even on Broncos territory. You just can't give Brady that kind of advantage...

They should have never tried that onside kick early in the game... Also 4 turnovers + 8 dropped passes usually costs any team the game... I wonder if resting your starters on the final game of the regular season is a good idea?

The onside-kick was probably a good idea that missed (were the giants expecting an onside kick at that point?). They were down 10 points at the half. Taking more risks would have given them a better chance to win the game at that point (or to lose more dramatically, but get the loss over with quicker).

The primary difference between a failed onside and a regular kickoff is about 30 yards. Giving the other team the ball (or not) is usually much more significant than where, so an onside kick attempt can be worth it in certain situations.

Sorry to see Tebow Time end, and for the wrecking ball to destroy Mr. Rodgers' Neighborhood. But at least Frisco won, and it's two AFC teams that I like. I would love to see a Super Harbaugh Bowl, but I doubt it will happen.

The onside kick from the Packers wasn't too surprising. That didn't directly lead to giving up any points since they blocked the Giant's FG attempt.

For Crosby, it was the fourth successful onside kick in the last three seasons. He pulled off two in 2009, one in Week 2 against Cincinnati and another in the NFC Wild Card playoff game at Arizona. Last year he did it again on the opening kickoff at New England.

This year was so close to being so awesome for sports in Wisconsin.

This was going to be the calendar year when our little ol' state ruled the sporting world. The Brewers were going to the World Series. The Badgers were going to win it all. And the Packers were surely going to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

Is it just me, or did it feel like a nuclear winter of reality blew in Sunday?

But, hey, at least we've got Miss America.
