Factions doings
Builders
So days pass as new buildings are erected to freshly built village of Garmadash-Goro. These buildings are made quickly, by inexperienced builders and it is douptful that they offer very much warmth during winter. But by then body heat should heat massive rooms, designed for sleeping purposes, quite well.
Hunters
As hunters now know where to find boars now, they often ambush boars near natural caves. There are not many who dare to go deeper into woods as forest is filled with sounds of many dangerous animals. They also never dare to enter into these caves as these boars seems to see quite well in the dark. Despite of that, hunters with commoners as followers learn quite a bit about surrounding forest edges and dare to move less carefully, but avoid entering deeper into woods. Despite of recent good hunts, numbers of hunters who hunt in woods remain low – as many of them are dealing with setting up trap network. Many volunteers who wish to join with hunting detail are turned down – commoners tend to chatter, step randomly on everything (branches) and simply charge at boars without being able to “wait for proper moment and strike together”. This causes hunters to turn many down and many boars manage to escape hunters thanks to “help” of the commoners.
Trap Line
Trap network, established around village with great deal of help from Chill Bill, also nets some small but steady income of rabbits, !huge frogs! and some other small “vermin”. But this trapping line requires constant maintenance and commoners who check traps for caught animals often leave their smell on and around traps – being inexperienced as they are. Yet this steady income is better than nothing and soups now contain small pieces of meat when hunters are away. If trap network continues to work same well as before, crafters expect to produce enough boots to equip half of the clan members with them during winter period.
Irrigation
Thanks to help of many volunteers, irrigation is half way finished, natural slope is used created to create a pond to half way from river-to-village. Thankfully, or sadly pond (only) shortens path that green skins have to travel to get water by half, but is not half better than nothing? Does this irrigation last during hot summer days and do orcs continue to dig this irrigation closer to their village or will they leave it as it is?
natural slope that was used as end of irrigation, large enough to hold some clean water
New field
Most of the farmers seem to be digging and cultivating land, water it and cover it with thin covering of ash (from camp fire), some farmers also help to look for food plants and seeds in the ruins. As spring turns into summer, one taking a look at ruins can see that commoners missed many food plants and here and there in the rubble, plants are growing out of it. As finely crafted Field does not get completely filled due the lack of seeds and saplings, so empty areas are filled with random plants, out of what few are Flax plants planted by Maxwell.
Craftsmen
Craftsmen have plenty to do and several commoners learn how to create trap line necessities – they are now apprentices, aka workers in training. Their group, sadly seems to avoid Luke as he bothered them far too much.
Fishermen
Fishermen scout river and find several good fishing spots. As there are no nets or other fishing equipment besides improvised spears supply of fishes seems to be much smaller than it could be.
One fisherman reports seeing “white female creature with fish tail” and hearing her song that locked him into position for several hours. Fishermen are afraid to go further down the river (North) with out knowing what these “creatures” are. Going up river (south) is also “bad idea” in their opinion.
Woodcutters
Wood cutting, thanks to hard work of many commoners and immortal named Ugag carrying logs back into village, village builds up steady source of lumber. It seems, however, that workers did not chop “in woods” but preferred to cut down trees around village, as they are afraid of wild animals who may find and attack them – they refuse to go into woods without being accompanied by group of trained soldiers.
Soldiers
Some volunteers train with swords and keep patrol during they and night, they could be considered “rookie soldiers”. However, due lack of weaponry their numbers are low (16). May someone could talk with crafters and get these battle axes sharpened and polished, so they could be used in training?

Shamans
Are quiet as usual.
EVENTS
Wild brothers!
A wounded group of 12 wild orcs enter into village of Gormandash – noticed once they only have less than one hundred meters shows clearly village incompetence and inability to defend itself. It seems these “wild orcs” have no intention of attacking village. Despite they do not feel happy about low defence that village has, most of them are heavily wounded and carry signs of recent battle.
They say that their Clans village (a week and several days upstream) was destroyed by “Horned beasts” and that their group is probably only group that had survived. They had walked randomly through woods and plains until they saw campfire smoke and seeing village inhabited by their kin made them very happy. They do not believe they were followed and ask to be “accepted into your clan” or at least get their wounds treated and some food. In exchange they offer everything they are carrying (including clothes) and their knowledge. It seems some of these “victims of war” are good quality soldiers while others are untrained youth.
They tell their village was found by their fore fathers and they did not tell them anything about where they come from or are there more orcs out there. These survivors do not know anything except their profession as it seems their village had strong hierarchy concerning workers and commoners. So it is doubtful much more can be learned from them.
Their leader drew a map of sorts from surrounding area. Fireplace represents recently (and every yearly) used fireplace they found during their “retreat”. They also marked are where they say their “enemy” will attack from.
]
They describe horned enemy to looke like this, of course, without gnomes hanging on their horns.
Saying that these horned bastards attacked their village without warning – suddenly entire surrounding area was filled with sounds of drums, followed by army of 40 or more “horned ones”. They spared no one but did not torch or damage any buildings. Warriors claim that they had never seen these creatures before and are fairly certain that they will find this village and will attack it on either autumn or winter.
Just like they would've vanished into air
Around village, several elders and youth who went out to “potty”, during midnight are lost and never seen again. There are no suspicious footprints found, just regular orc footprints and none seem to indicate struggle of sorts. Just like these few would have “disappeared into air”.
Several small herds of wild sheep appear into distance
Fisherman and scouts report that several small herds seem to t travel from NE, crossing river and passing village over 1 km South. They seem to be heading into SW and are relatively calm, but if someone approaches them, they tend to flee into random directions and later gather around Ram when he calls them. Hunters wish to slaughter them all but some of civilians seem to want to “catch” them alive.
Clan changes
Village changes
Poor quality common sleeping houses
Medium quality small field
Trapline
Hunters gain knowledge of "Boar caves", explore "forest edge"
Half completed irrigation what has "pond" at its end, one could dig from pont toward village to closen irrigation to fields.
Fishermen gain "poor" fishing area, with better equipment it could change to "ok" fishing area.
Fishermen gain fear out of exploring river.
Cutters cut down most trees around village. Gain fear going into forest edge to chop trees.
16 rookie soldiers
Village income
10 fighting axes (5 are found in the rubble others are found by luke)
4 small wooden shields
5 hunting equipment
5 crafting equipment
10 building equipment
5 poor quality iron bars (1 bar is enough to produce 1 item, despite of item size)
3 bags of pearls, 15 amulets, 5 bags containing many small statues of orcs sitting
Supplies at the begging of summer:
Water: irrigation pond half km from village
Food: very low income from Trap line, no income from farm (but expected to give some output by autumn), irregular small-medium hunting income, regular "low" income from fishing
Wood: very low (most trees around village have been cut and most cutters refuse to go into woods)
Bars: very low, mainly poor quality what could be salvaged from ruins
Ores: Some rocks piled nicely into village
Granary stocks:
Very low - barely 1/3rd of what is needed to survive winter on "low" food
Gormandash-Goro population changes
10 new orc children! - due NESing purpose they mature in 12 months (4 updates!)
5 commoners learn hunting
3 commoners learn farming
5 commoners learn building, with many gaining low level knowledge
16 commoners practice with weapons and become "rookie" warriors
Factions decisions
Decision 1: Accept 12 wild orcs (8 warriors, 4 commoners) into our clan or not?
Decision 2: What to do with Wild sheep herds?
Decision 3: What do about Mysterious losses that happen during night?
Decision 4: What to do about mermaids
Decision 5: How to deal with new enemy ... are they even enemy or did those other orcs anger them some how?
Builders: Argue among themselves what to do next
Hunters: Argue importance of hunting in the woods. Argue if sheep should be killed or captured
Craftsmen: Argue what to craft
Farmers: Need more forkforce on fields, ask irrigation to be finished
Fishermen: Ask for guards
Warriors: Ask to accept “wild orcs” to learn from them. Ask more volunteers to train against new possible enemy.
Commoners:
Some would bring water to village (now easier than before!)
None would scavenge ruins
Some would attempt to go with hunters/fishermen
Few would train for defence
None would chop wood (If guarded, some would chop wood)
Few would help builders
Few would dig irrigation drenches
Few would gather editable plants under guidance of farmers.
Most are scared of “horned ones”, mermaids and forest creatures.

Stoll - finds 4 bags containing pearl-like stuff, lays claim on one of the bags. Is "laughing material" among hunters (no effect on hunter policy towards him, as everyone are happy over good hunt) but gains respect among commoners.
Maxwell - fails at hunting, fails at finding food plants but finds few flax plants
Ugag - gains strength, can now gain a follower if he spends more time with that "youth" and does not get roll of 1 or two
Wotepchu Broadhand - gains strenght, gains knowledge of "secret fishing spot"
Xialo - learned partially how to fish, requires one turn more focus to gain "very basic" knowledge of fishing, angered commoners but his position does not yet drop in clan, if he angers again it'll drop
Chill Bill - helps to set up traps, gained possibility to join next hunting trip as apperintance (student) and learn very basic hunting
Gorrik - gains respect among hunters and commoners
