pbem game hanging

As the title suggests. I've been playing this particular game with a friend for a few weeks now. We're just approaching the middle of the game and at the end of my turn the game is hanging with the 'waiting for other civs' message displayed at the bottom of the screen. Bizzarely I can still access some ingame screens, diplomacy etc. I've tried changing various things with my civ but think it's something with an ai one.

Have included the last save game we have below. If anyone can offer any advice would be much appreciated. Will be a bugger if we have to write it off. :/

Enter world builder and delete all the AI players then see if it still crashes, if it doesnt you can go through and find the AI thats causing the problem by trial an error.

You can still play your game but minus one problematic AI hopefully

We'd come to the same conclusion but ultimately decided to begin again, figuring that on a pangea map mid game the removal of an ai would complete upset the power balance. Thank you though.
