Peace with Persia

We have nearly surrounded Persia's borders with ships. Unless there are objections, we'll make peace with them now, right?

I should hope not. We need somewhere to test our ICBMs once they become operational.

We don't need to do that immediately (besides, the ICBMs won't do anything yet); we could do it a turn before victory (although that should mean breaking the peace treaty two turns early). Peace would allow 0% luxury with no entertainers.

We probably have approx 20 turns left (4 techs), so if we want to avoid breaking the Peace Treaty we should make peace soon. Peace would allow us to increase our research as we will not need as much luxury so I suppose sooner rather than later.

The Civ 3 Multi Team Demogame is still running in the subforum of the main forum for this game, you'll have to see if they're accepting new members though.
