This has happened a few times. Basically, they each joined their allied AI while fighting the other AI. Later, I won both over as allies, but they will not stop fighting. Customer support says there is no way to force them to make peace. Seems like an oversight in game design. Does any mod deal with this?

If I really wanted to make peace between them, I would try to get an alliance with A, then declare war on B, then negotiate peace with B. I have no idea if that would work, but that's what I'd try.
Might not be worth it if you were already allies with both of them, though.

AI often is very dumb when attacking another AI. So I generally let the two CS alone and neither seems to win. There is some risk that Mongolia or another aggressor will try to gobble one of them that has been weakened by their local feud.
