As fans of Zhuge Kong Ming, most of us have been looking everywhere to find an English translation of the Zhuge Liang Ji (諸葛亮集校注). 后记

I have recently been in contact with Professor Andrew Meyer about a possible project to translate the Zhuge Liang Ji into English. To give you a quick background, Professor Meyer is a Chinese history scholar graduated with PhD from Harvard in 1999. His recent publications include the translation of the Huainanzi and Liu An's art of war. Liu An was the grandson of Han Gaozu Liu Bang. Technically, a distant relative of Liu Bei.

Professor Meyer's translations are both scholarly and flavoursome (i.e. preserving the textual flavour and meaning of the original Chinese texts). Very well researched. I would
know. I bought many of his books & reckon him one of the five best tiger authors of Chinese military history (Ralph Sawyer, Rafe de Crespigny, Moss Roberts, Andrew Meyer & J. Michael Farmer).

Professor Meyer has informed me that he will talk to his editors/publisher about this project. You can imagine any publishing house would think twice on publishing a work if demand is scarce.... I hope everyone would give some encouragement to Professor Meyer (& his editors) to embark on this translation project. He can be reached at AMeyer at brooklyn.cuny.edu

Thank you so much.

Regards
Phil
