ive been editing my gamespeed file since no one out there can tell me where to find a longer game speed mod. ive added 600 turns onto the marathon game and i thought i edited my other stats to slow research. this is what i have.

i started out with research speed at 350% but it seemed to be going too fast so i changed it and reloaded my game but there was no effect. when i change the turns, however, it is reflected in the save game so why isnt the research different? how do i write into my xmls to slow research by an additional 25%?
