Retreat before combat property

I seem to remember seeing units (like horse skirmishers and maybe some other units) sometimes exercise the ability to "retreat before melee to avoid combat".

But I can't figure out how/where that property is being implemented? (eg is it a promotion or a property intrinsic to a unit class or something else?).

When I use SQLite manager to connect to (roughly) user\documents\mygames\smc5\cache\Civ5CoreDatabase.db

I can't see this promotion in the UnitPromotions table (or the Incan slinger in the units table come to mention it)...

What am i doing wrong, am I connected to the wrong db?

Do you have the DLC that includes the Incans?

1.0.3.279 running the latest vox populi, so yes.

That's the game core version and a mod - doesn't mean you have all the civilizations - some are unique to DLCs

Best ask in the VP forum then, as if you have the Incas visible, but no Slingers, sounds like something's been changed by VP
