Save Games Transportable?

This may be obvious (to most!), but can I start a game on one computer, save the file to a memory stick, then play it on another computer? I just wondered if there are any computer-specific files or settings in a savegame.

Just find the file, transfer it, and make sure you put it in correct folder on the other computer. If you're playing with a mod, however, you need to have the mod on the computer you are moving the game to.

Okay, thanks. I might start a game on my old computer, then buy a new one, and continue it on the new one

If you start moving save games between computers, just be careful with your quicksave, as you only have one of those. So if you end up playing different games on 2 different computers (as I do), copying the quicksave to anothe rmachine will over-write the quicksave on that machine.
