Several questions about android workers

So I got several doubts about the android workers (the cities' specialist), their strategy, their specific place on this modpack and several other curious questions:

1-They give some Great Character Points, for what kind of Great Character. Great Engineers maybe?
2-If I adopt Post-Labor with slavery active (+5 unhappyness) and I use Martial Law and Despotism (+happyness per militar unit) I can surpass the effects of that unhappyness in even in the smallest cities, but, does it worth it in terms of maintenance of more militar units, other effects of the slaves and the free units I can obtain by abolishing slavery? What do you think?
3- Seems like the only actual way of earning them by the moment is adopting the "Post-Labor" principle, is there a way of building them like building Heroes or like Great Farmers...?
4-... And is there a way of obtaining them from combat like slave specialist?

:bump:
So I've been searching some hours and this answer my first question, they are not attached to a Great Character in particular.
Due to my untrained programming skills I can't hardly understand the rest of this code.
I'm seeing if I can do something useful and/or creative with this.
Slaves had already been nerfed reducing their bonus from +10 production/commerce/food/culture/research to +8. However it's still tempting to not abolish slavery even more now with a new system of crime.

The concept of slavery has not been fleshed out passed the Renaissance.

One option discussed is to have the captives become prisoners and add in "Articles of War" diplomatic agreements between nations.
  • civilians won't be captured - they are turned into refugees for game purposes, a special type of unit that will flee combat, firstly trying to get back to one of their cities but maybe setting up a refugee camp or merging into a foreign city in some way.
  • military captives become "prisoners of war"
    • commanders and heroes are special "leader captives" that can be bought back at huge costs (ransomed)
    • elite units can also be ransomed
    • others may remain captives and used as now or
      • put in prisoner of way camps to be used as part of the peace process....

That feature could be actually pretty cool because, like I discussed with Raxxo later, once your Heroes get destroyed on combat they are gone, you cannot build them again ever, and it's okay because they can be quite powerful. However I would welcome a ransom feature to add spice and basically say to the player: "you should be more careful next time".
