Well hopefully the western hemisphere can fill up with capitalist states or else my nation is kinda silly and pointless.

This world is also calling out for a semi-fascist Britain if most of Europe is going commie.

That would work well with my nation as well, as whenever anything goes wrong they blame it on "British Capitalist Spies".

Background:
Undeniably the finest light infantry, snipers, and mountain troops the modern world knows, Inca Mountain Brigades are well trained in the arts of survival, movement in difficult terrain, and ambush. Though lightly armed compared to other military units, even in other sections of the empire's military, they are perfectly suited to the terrain of the empire and defensive operations in this region.

History:
Great Huascar Inka defeated the traitor Atahualpa in 1535, and when the terrorist Pizarro came, ambushed and slaughtered the Spanish earth-scum. However, recognizing the value of their weapons, he ordered their secrets of metal and hand-cannons and the breeding of their horses.

Consequently, when the monotheistic heathens returned, they found a powerful, populous empire whose armies covered the land.

The Inca have remained fairly isolationist since this incident. They are more than likely the largest state in the Americas population wise, but are somewhat less advanced.

Inca society is essentially socialist, with family units giving taxes and occasionally labor or military service to the government. Most goods are delivered to storehouses until they are deemed necessary. However, the ethos of the empire is that busy people are less likely to revolt or object. The empire therefore enjoys a highly developed infrastructure due to the constant forced labor and storehouses full of all sorts of goods.

However, the isolationist attitude of the empire has not lent itself to technological advancement. As such, the empire has a ways to go in order to maintain technological parity with other nations in the area. This is usually offset with the numbers advantage the empire enjoys and also the natural defensive properties of the region the empire occupies.

The Galapagos have long been a traditional territory of the Empire, and, like OTL, have inspired groundbreaking theories around the origin and development of life. The Empire's scientists have long been obsessed with the mysteries of disease and the inner workings of life, and thanks to modern technology are capable of truly exploring them. The government, seeing this as an opportunity to be more advanced than other powers, fully supports this measure.

Reach Lands: Every Mountain in western South America and Tierra del Fuego.
Colonies: Falklands, Easter Island, Galapagos, other Pacific islands near to South America

@ork75: There's no Pizarro in here, since the Nasri Caliphate's existence ensured that Castilla and Aragón remained separate, which meant they couldn't have as many colonies as there were.

I have a NPC idea: the Serene Republic of (the Isle of) Man, a mercantile republic that serve its purpose as atax heaven business meeting centre for the wealthy.

I will be inserting it into neighbour suggesting but I will first need consensus if the name is good enough.

In other news I look forward for good relations with Germany! :D

Milarqui, (and Terrance can correct me if I'm wrong, but) nothing is canonical until countries have been accepted by Terrance.

So you complaining about there not being Francisco Pizarro or about how islands which aren't even part of your country currently are being used differently to how you intended is pretty silly given that there is no canon yet, irrelevant of chronological posting order.

As I understand it, Terrance works out who is there and then we iron out any issues that may result from conflicting history. In all honesty, I'd recommend being vague about things that aren't actually in your country, such as former colonies, rather than sticking down a claim based on canon in a situation where we explicitly won't have canon until later and then wondering why everybody ignores it.

The Yukon Guard was first formed by Tsar Dmitry and are the best trained men in Alaska beside the Imperial Guard themself. Specifically trained to handle the worst conditions in Alyaska, from the Frozen Tundra of the north, to the Icy waters of the Yukon. The Yukon Guard are armed with BR-45A, a variant to the standard issue BR-45 designed to be used in the extreme cold. The Yukong Guard are deployed to keep the peace and secure lands of extreme cold and ice.

Background: The Tsardom of Alyaska is a young yet powerful nation in the world because of its high amount of gold and resources in it’s frozen wastes. Alyaska started out as a Russian colony however by time Tsar Dmitry Petrovich Maksutov was chosen to be governor, the Russian Empire deemed it unprofitable, and in 1867 Dmitry declared himself Tsar over the land. Due to it being considered a frozen pile of waste, Russia barely took notice, Now the Tsardom is rich and powerful form its discovery of gold and later oil, Currently ruled by Dmitry’s Grandson Tsar Dmitry Dmitrievich Maksutov, or Dmitry II, the Astronomer, who during his reign has greatly pushed scientific advancement and learning.

Unique Unit 2: SS-2 (Samolet-Snaryad (Flying Bomb)) (1 ASP to create the unit) (1 ASP for 1 Rocket (sound good?))
A successor the SS-1 the Samolet-Snaryad 2 or Flying bomb 2 is an improvement over the original design. Unlike the SS-1, which used a Jet Engine (which I am assuming everyone has at least a basic version of because everyone should have about late WW2 tech) the SS-1 uses stored propellant, thus removing the need for a separate engine and large wings to keep the bomb flying, and allowing for a larger warhead on the device. The SS-2 is the First Man Made object to escape the Earth's gravitational pole and enter space. The SS-2 can carry up to 1,000 kg of explosive and has a range of 200 miles. It contains only the most basic of a guidance system but that could be improved fairly easily as new technologies arrive.

@m.t.cicero: I think that you have become just a little... enthusiastic with the fact that there are few nations in the Americas. I do hope that we can find a balance between your claims and my history (particularly after the mess with merciary's Nuova Venezia).

For now at least I don't see anyone else's claims or history interfering with my core lands, and my reach lands are just that, reach lands. I certainly hope that Terran Emperor gets his country, there's no reason I should get Alaska instead. And as far as your country, I left most all of OTL Louisiana and New Spain out on purpose, giving your smaller country the same extent of colonies that OTL Spain had in North America, minus Florida. And honestly I think Florida would make equal sense under any of our three countries, since the Spanish in OTL were hardly able to govern there at all and were forced to cede it to the fledgling United States. I think that a strong, Native American power with a strong past of Native liberation would give your Nasrid Caliphate or New Venice a run for their money in Florida, especially with Seminole help. But I'll leave that up to Terrance. I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be casting a wide net with my Reach lands though.
