anyone know what the sys. requirements are going to be? i have my copy pre-ordered through EBgames, but i'm stuck on an 833mhz PIII with 256MB of PC133 SDRAM with no graphics card and I'm scared I won't be able to play.

You might be in trouble. Check out Sid Meiers Pirates. It uses the same engine. I believe it requires about double what you have. But you could upgrade to a decent PC for under 500 bucks. Dont know if that is in your budget.
