The end of the mods

I thought I would come back to try CIV V again after a few months and the bitter dissapointment of before.

I checked the mods page and many seem to have died, call of power and ccmat, the best two ive tried are not only dead but also incompatible with the game. Was modding also like this because i remember great mods on CIV IV. I tried playing vanilla and was still unimpressed.

There are still some great mods in the works. It just takes a while for most people to switch off vanilla and develop some really good add-ons.
