The Silly Good Start Thread

Thought I'd try out a good ol' unmodded civ, and RNG was pleased.
Big and Small mapscript. Moved settler 1 north and settled. Village was east of starting pos and gave a scout. Off we go

Thats kind of unhealthy. I would've settled on the marble 1S1W.

Only +2, not that bad. But it lacks real food, which makes it an average start imo.

A good start has lots of food and stone for mids and is 100% barb proof!!

How do you maintain a higher slider? I dont play on settler.

All the cities except the ivory one were captured.

Well all my cities were producing cats / phants. I could have just switched my research off at that point, victory is close, but I havnt played it further, I'm already in a winning position.
