Wired has announced the winners af the wired vaporware awards 2008. Of course, Duke Nukem Forever ended first place. What are your own experiences with vaporware*? My vaporware: Ubuntu 8.10: supposed to easily handle Sata-Raid, but it didn't on my Dell. I'm also still waiting for DNF. I loved Duke Nukem 3d.

*Wireds definition of vaporware: Soft- or hardware that fails to lives up to expectation or supposed to ship in 2008 but (for whatever reason) didn't, beta counts (but not Gmail.)

Well now that Chinese Democracy is here, who knows. Maybe we'll even live to see Duke Nukem Forever :ack:
 
No surprises there that DNF is listed in first place.
