Top production, research, money indicators

The little beaker, hammer, and pile of coins representing tope research, production, and cash producers, respectively, beside the city names seem to have disappeared from my game even though I remember seeing them before and they are now on my friend's low difficulty game...

I'd like these things back! Does anyone know whether they can be turned on and off in a menu or are they difficulty-level dependant (which seems weird to me)?

Okay, I guess I was just lazy. It's detailed city info, right there in the graphics... pretty simple.
