ive played civ for sometime came up with this guide about traits

protective
free drill1,citygar1
cut price walls,castles

summary
protective is players who are "new to civ" its gives a added bonus to defending .if you are planing to knock up the difficulty for the first time i recomend protective.this trait is also a great war mongering triat,why it means you dont need as many units defending a city.

free promotions
early on if dont plan to go war you can skip barracks(add them in later)if you do you find a 2 citygar2 drill1 archer in every city a hand.couple this with charismatic city gar3 drill1 archers and guns(inc redcoats).in most cities (if impleameted correct)

cut price walls & castles
if you need to defend quickly this is extremly useful add this to city2 drill1 longbow/crossbows it will a stack of 8 units to wipe the defenders out (if not bomarded)but if they do bombard you have to to send a large amry to wipe them out.

charismatic
+1 happiness per city
-25% XP needed for unit promotions
+1 happiness from Monument, Broadcast Tower

the trait is more of all rounder than a warmonger.even trough the trait is a good waring trait because it can go on for longer

works from start so aim for health resoures,corn .the war:mad: will be less in all cities inc captured cities .also you have a larger chance of "we love the x day"

faster promos to all units mounted try to exploit this by making loads of ggs and biulding great wall.
+1 happiness from Monument, Broadcast Tower
these biulding s are the ones which can be given free so expoit this by biulding stonehenge,effeil tower the building are quite good(with out the :) bonus) so dont down heartened if yo ulose the wonder race.
