I think with a slight reskin (which I actually plan on doing because I am going to use this LH) and a background change this could be a really exceptional LH. Easily one of your better works Den, you are improving quickly.

There are bootcds like this one: http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd You'd need a programm like ghost for instance, so you can create an image of your d drive from outside windows. Next step would be extracing your files from that image. Or try knoppix. Just don't act to fast! Think before destroying your files! Also, If I got you correctly, your windows is on c, but your files are on d. In this case, you could reinstall windows without the danger of loosing your files. You'd need to format c, while keeping d, then install windows. Alternatively plugin your harddrive in another pc... Whatever you do, your files can be saved.

The first problem is solvable with a bit texturing, and the second one needs sculpting. Read my tutorial, Nitram's guide for sculting in Blender 2.49/b You will need to use grab, ang grab those poligons, which are cause this problem. It is easy, but if you can't do it, please send them to me.
