Trying to increase market, bank gold production modifier!

Well hi everyone,

I would like to change the market and the bank gold production modifier.

I find the files, try some stuff but honestly I really dont know what im doing...

I like the game just the way it is, but I need a liittle extra Gold to love it.

Any help is apreciated.

If you edit the files in your Civ 5\Assets\Gameplay\XML\Buildings folder then you should make a backup before altering them.

Afaik it would be enough to open CIV5Buildings.xml and search for
<Row>
<BuildingType>BUILDING_MARKET</BuildingType>
<YieldType>YIELD_GOLD</YieldType>
<Yield>25</Yield>
</Row>

Change the <Yield>25</Yield> to whatever value you want, for ex. 50 would increase the Gold Bonus of the Market to 50%.

Afterwards you can do the same with the entrys for the Bank and Stock exchange.
