The chat started of slowly. No instructions were posted by the Trade and Tech office, so it was guessing what to research. The President's spies asked the citizens if maths was ok and the people seemed okay with that.
Then the question arose how high do we set our slider ? The senate still was on holiday apparently, as no slider instructions were posted. But that didn't matter; the lowest science settings (20%) would get it in 40 and so would the highest settings (100%).
We founded our capitol; Deux Rivières. See screenshot:
Some turns of worker actions and seeing our treasury build up. When the city grew to size 2 an investigation of the top5 cities was done and:
We are number 1 !!!
According to the military instructions our first warrior had to pop the hut as soon as possible. The Military Leader changed his opinion, but the president had no choice. Pop or Stop.
A hefty debate started and the president / despot took the decision to pop. Our warrior, called Chuck picked up his axe and stormed the hut:
A Bulgar tribe ! 2 Barbs attacked our poor Chuck. He fended off the first without damage. He was then attacked in the flank by the second. He lost 2 hitpoints before regathering his strength and killing off the 2nd attacker. The Military honored him by promoting him to veteran. When the third barb saw this he ran away; but unfortunately straight to our Capitol:
Crisis !. The citizens were defided. Some wanted to use Chuck to attack and destroy the Bulgars, some wanted to leave the barb alone and let it pillage the Capitol and some were unsure. The president thought long and hard. He could not allow his citizens to be slaughtered by Bulgars when there were troops standing next to the Bulgars watching the spectacle. Chuck was ordered to charge at the Bulgars, and died.
The Bulgars pillaged Deux Rivières, killing half our citizens. They weren't seen and seemed to go up into thin air.
2 turns later the citizens formed a new warrior team. This was the time to listen to the citizens and officials and "It was taken to the forums"
