Hi every one here is a big update for this mod, adding governors, new governments and new civ unique abilities !
Governors :
- You can earn a governor each time you adopt a more modern government. Then , according to the type of the city they are assigned to, the governors will have a specific duty.
Governments (updated) :
There are now 4 different governments available for each era from the classical era to the industrial era.Each government belongs to a group and you suffer no penalty if you adopt a new government in the same group. Otherwise you will suffer from a short period of revolution. Each Government also has its own unique building or unit.

Despotism (Monarchy group)
Unique Unit : The Royal Guard. The royal guard is more powerful when fighting near your capital.
Hegemony (Empire group)
Unique Building : The fortified Camp. The fortified Camp reduces the risks of a revolution.
League (League group)
Unique Building : The Citizen Assembly. The citizen assembly removes the culture penalty from this city.
Republic (Republic group)
Unique National Wonder : The Senate. The Senate grants GA points for each claim fulfilled.
Medieval Era :
Feudal Monarchy (Monarchy group)
Unique Building : The Fief. The fief increases unit production.
Thalassocracy (League group)
Unique unit : The Brigantine. The Brigantine is an amphibian unit, perfect for exploration.
Oligarchy (Republic group)
Unique Unit : The Landsknecht. Similar to the standard unit.
Extensive Empire (Empire Group)
Unique Unit : The Levies . Cheap unit that can be trained by sacrifying population but with almost no cost.
Renaissance Era :
Colonial Empire (League group)
Unique Building : The Viceroy Palace. The viceroy palace speeds up the training of civilian units on foreign continents.
Absolute Monarchy (Monarchy group)
Unique national Wonder : The Summer Palace. The summer palace establishes its host city as a second capital.
Bureaucratc Empire (Empire group)
Unique Building : The Local Tribunal. The Local tribunal provides extra happiness.
Confederation (Republic group)
Unique Unit : The Emissary. The Emissary can recruit units in allied territories.
Industrial Era
Commonwealth (League group)
Unique Unit : The Foreign Legion. Similar to the standard unit.
Constitutional Monarchy (Monarchy group)
Unique Building : The National Assembly. Caps unhappiness from city population.
Federal State (Republic group)
Unique Building : The Local Parliament. Increases the maximum happiness pssible from fulfilled claims.
Imperial State (Empire group)
Unique Unit : The Grenadier. The grenadier is stronger when attacking cities.
New and updated UA
Korea :
+1 science for all specialists and for all Great Person tile improvements. Receive a tech boost each time a scientific building/Wonder is built in the Korean capital.
America :
All land military units have +1 sight. 50% discount when purchasing tiles. Can seize strategic and luxury Resources.
The Shoshones :
Founded cities start with maximised territory, that can be seized down to a 1 tile range by other civilizations. Units receive a combat bonus when fighting within their own territory.
China :
The Great General combat bonus is increased by 30%, and their spawn rate is increased by 50%. All land units ignore zone of control.
India :
Unhappiness from number of Cities doubled, Unhappiness from number of Citizens halved. +15% Food Growth.
Russia :
Strategic Resources provide +1 Production and Horse, Iron, Coal and Uranium Resources provide double quantity.
Greece :
City-State Influence degrades at half and recovers at twice the normal rate. +3 Gold per allied City-States.
Germany :
Upon defeating a Barbarian unit inside an encampment, there is a 50% chance you earn 25 Gold and they join your side. Pay 25% less for land unit maintenance. Armies move at the speed of their fastest unit.
The Ottomans :
50% chance of converting an adjacent Barbarian naval unit to your side and earning 25 Gold. Pay only one-third the usual cost for naval unit maintenance. All naval melee units receive the Coastal Raiders promotion.
The Iroquois :
Units move through Forest and Jungle in ALL territories as if they were Roads. These tiles can be used to establish City Connections upon researching The Wheel. Caravans move along Forest and Jungle as if they were Roads.
Rome :
+25% Production towards any buildings that already exist in the Capital. Receive 50 Golden Age points for each barbarian camp cleared.
The Aztecs :
Gains Culture for the empire from each enemy unit killed. When winning a war, receive additional culture.
Egypt :
+20% Production towards Wonder construction. Ennemy units receive 5 Attrition per turn after conquering one of your cities holding a wonder.
Songhai :
Receive triple Gold from Barbarian encampments and pillaging Cities. Land units gain the War Canoe and Amphibious promotions, strengthening them while embarked. Revolution risk from war and unhappiness halved.
Indonesia :
The first 3 cities other than your capital and on different continents each provide 2 unique Luxury Resources (and can never be razed).
The Netherlands :
Retains 50% of the Happiness benefits from a Luxury Resource if your last copy of it is traded away. Traded luxury resources still count towards Commercial Victory.
The Celts :
+1 Faith per city with an adjacent Forest. Bonus increases to +2 Faith in Cities with 3 or more adjacent Forest tiles.
Carthage :
All coastal Cities get a free Harbor. Units may cross mountains after the first Great General is earned, taking half of their HP in damage if they end a turn on a mountain (down to 20).
Mongolia :
Combat Strength +30% when fighting City-State units or attacking a City-State itself. Units exert more fearness on city states. All mounted units have +1 Movement.
Polynesia :
Can embark and move over Oceans immediately. +1 Sight when embarked. +10% Combat Strength bonus if within 2 tiles of a Moai. Atolls provide +1 Food and +1 Production.
Denmark :
Embarked units have +1 Movement and pay just 1 movement point to move from sea to land. Melee units pay no movement point cost to pillage. Armies pay no movement cost for deploying.
Morocco :
Receives +3 Gold and +1 Culture for each Trade Route with a different civ or City-State. The Trade Route owners receive +2 [ICON_GOLD] Gold per Route sent to Morocco. +10 Gold when a caravan goes through one of your Kasbah.
Miscelleanous :
- The AI can now pick the ‘faith of the chosen people’ option ;
- Pikemen now evolve in Infantrymen ;
- Change Venice AI personality towards more defensiveness and reliability.
- Circumnavigation Event now triggers a golden age.
- Can no longer start a golden age naturally or through a great people if you are in a revolution.
- Golden Age triggered by Policies, Buildings or the circumnavigation event will stop a current revolution.
- Added a claim to choose a more modern government ;
- Caravans will now follow roads more eagerly (in order to accomodate Morocoo’s new ability) ;
- Rebalanced yields for Academies, Manufactories,Customs Houses ;
- Flavour for cannon moved from neutral to defensive.
- Change Map scripts to allow the generation of much more Atolls.
- Increased We Love the King Day event to 50%.
BugFixes :
- Fixed a vanilla bug when a fleet was not checking if its units could go on the ocean when trying to find its path overseas;
- Fixed a vanilla bug when a fleet was kindly asked by the PathFinder to leave an enemy’s territory … when trying to attack one of its cities ?
- Fixed a vanilla bug when an army will abort its operation because it could not deploy in safe conditions ;
- Fixed a vanilla bug when an idle caravan was blocking a civilian unit to enter a city ;
- Fix an UAM bug when the amount of GA points earned with the Senate was not scaling with game speed ;
- Fixed various UAM bugs in AI substrategies for commercial victory.
