Veteran Bombers?

What the hell?

I was playing the game on king, i was going to lose, i was getting quadrupled teamed.

I was building the world bank

Then China, somehow got bombers while i had pikeman, the bomber wing was veteran.

I thought aircraft and naval units couldn't be veterans.

Maybe it was a barraks, i dont know, or a glitch, but i was not happy.

I think the barracks makes all units veterans, even sea and air units. However, it seems thats the only way - they don't gain experience from combat.

That is true. You can build veteran battleships, bombers or fighters with the barracks, but they will never upgrade.

I noticed Rome kept sending some weak fighter wings at me in a game that only had 12 defense instead of the usual 18. Not that I mind.

Really though, at 40 hammers the barracks is cheaper than those units and worth the turn to build.
