Way to rip the music?

The unfortunate souls in Australia did not get a soundtrack bundled with Civ4, anyone know how to rip the music from the DVD?

Check this out:

Assets\Sounds\Soundtrack

You've all the music stored there, separated in eras.

go to the folder you have civ4 installed in, look in the assets folder, sounds. all the music is there.

as far as i can tell, there's only 2 tracks on the soundtrack CD that aren't in the folder. the opening theme (from the "zoom down upon earth" movie), and an unused theme.

soundtrack was bundled with the Preorder edition in north america...

Was not included in regular edition

Unfortunately the music folder does not contain the opening movie music nor the "In the beginning piece" without the voice overs. I would really like to have those two, particularly the first one.

Mylon, could you be referring to OpeningMenu.mp3 ?

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Assets\Sounds\Soundtrack

OpeningMenu.mp3 is the load-game theme song

OpeningSlideshow is the L.Nemoy Creation of the World.
