deity, epic speed? I've seen on a more standard game speed to get it started-built 80-100 turns. But I don't think I seen a average time on epic.

Typical standard to epic conversion factor is 1.5 (so standard turn 80 would be epic turn 120), but that's VERY rough, since not everything in the game scales at 1.5 to 1.

Yes, scaling is hard to gauge, and after working on various build chains I felt turn 120 on epic is fair, and on deity at least I have found it nearly impossible to do it under 100, with all the other things going on around that time that also are just as much a priority. I just wanted to see who else had a an opinion.

On epic I target to have it built by turn 150. It depends on the area that I start in and if I need to be more aggressive in early settling or if I have time to put settling on hold at 3 cities. For myself only I find it rather hard to win at higher difficulties if I put off the NC more than 150 turns.
