If you got BTS and had enough time to play it,
Could you please vote your opinion about BTS expansion?

Just for fun, also guess the exact number of bugs available in BTS!

The person that makes the closest guess to the number that will be anounced by Firaxis (if they accept to :)) will win a "I love Firaxis" t-shirt from Firaxis (if they ever accept to do someting like this  )

my guess is 34 :)

Unfortunately you can't count the number of bugs. Maybe some bugs occur sporadically or you won't notice them. If you have a bug report with the number of bugs it is always an estimate. It can't be measured, because if it could you have a bug-detector and if you have that you could remove all bugs.

Sorry, little bit off topic.

Wow, I voted "Excellent gameplay additions, Acceptable level of bugs" thought it seems I'm a minority. Perhaps I'm just too easy to please. :) I also always play on Epic too... I stopped marathon a long time ago, I used to swear by it.

I voted for that too. I play on Epic in the most of my games. Additions are great, like I voted, but bugs like poison water/foment unhappiness scaling problem, Gers obsoliting with Rocketry (should be Advanced Flight) and Civilopedia bugs (like Spy specialist links leading to Spy unit) make the experience a bit worse. I don't like that they swapped Spearman and Phalanx graphics either, though that isn't a bug.

Interesting to see that folks mostly agree on "Excellent gameplay additions" so far, but disagree regarding the bugs. I voted "Excellent gameplay additions,Very buggy", because companies are broken, workers do things they must not do, the city governor does less than optimize, and others.

All of the additions are amazing, however, extreme bugs such as the scaling issue with Poison Water and Foment Unhappiness severely hinder the game.

just kidding man...dont get everything seriously :)

but if you need offtopic:
I know what can be counted and what can not, as i am in the SW dev world for more than 7 years. When i call something a bug, it is a "catched, detected" bug. We do count bugs, and it is a very essential metric to software quality improvement.

It's great in terms of content, with all the additions to the epic game and a bunch of really well-done mods. In terms of letting me play the game without having my computer slowing to a crawl every few minutes...not so good.

True. I imagine once that's fixed I'll be able to lower my spy spending , and I might start using it against the a.I.

By the way, some of these problems are addressed by the Solver's unofficial patch, if you need.

I would say 'Good gameplay additions, Acceptable level of bugs'. Some of the gameplay additions, I'm going to mod straight on out. But some are extremely well done, much needed and very welcome. Not enough to say excellent, as the few things I'm modding out are pretty core, but overall very, very good. I can easily see how most of these bugs made it through. It happens. The game truly is not overwhelmed with bugs. Some stuff is being fixed on the fly as we speak by players here. It will all work out.

I voted excellent for the new content, but then I came to BtS straight from the original Civ 4. So all the stuff from warlords like extra civs and great generals is new to me too. As for bugs it is far less badly bugged than the last game I bought (which I won't mention) so I guess my expectations are now a lot lower in that area.

I vote ''Excellent gameplay additions, Acceptable level of bugs ''

Bugs will no doubt be sorted in time:)
