Man, I don't know... Is it even possible to win this war?

Nice tessilations, anyways....I doubt it. You seem backwards in both techs and manpower. You also seem to have no knowledge of the surrounding area (which seems impossible at this stage in the game, but I'll roll with it), therefore not letting you set up choke points for counter-attacks.

Granted, I'm not much of a warmongerer, though.

The last time I checked I was the second most advanced. Anyway, what should I do??

Well, I'm not sure. The save was weird (almost no exploration outside of own territories, yet knew everyone), and there was a bunch of Can'ts in the Tech screen with no Wants. Only attack stack I saw was backwards (You have Paratroopers, Marines, probably Artillery, and Infantry. The attack stack had Cannon, Culrassiers, and other mixed units). You were also in the red on expenses, forcing you to lower the slider or skimp on units/unit upgrades.

In terms of this game. I suspect Pascal will have a stack of tanks and other units that will squash your stack of mounted units. Machine guns will be good defenders but they can only defend. I suspect pascal may well have bombers to reduce your defences to 0%. He will still have to cross over another Ai land to reach you.

I dont think you really have an answer to his by far superior fire power beyond peace. Guessing Pacal army is 3 fold yours by looking on demographics. This could be due to superior units like tanks. More modern units are given higher points.

Bridging the tech gap again will be a tough ask without tech trading which you dont have. Turning off barbarians is also not helping you to become a better player.

You have 8 or so units sitting by east coast that serve no purpose. Your borders are more at risk. I would also move all fighters to border cities.

The start of your game is the problem I fear. You had Pyramids but I am not sure you even used it for representation civic and specialists. Thats why most build it. (Each specialist gets +3 science beakers.) 3-6 scientists early on with Pyramids and representation give you 18-36 science beakers. More than enough to match the Ai till 1ad. With great library and settled scientists they numbers soon add up.

I would post an early save around 1ad for real advice on early game play.

Your great people farm is only producing 20 Great people points per turn. By 1960ish it should be 80+ easily. Food = specialists. Grassland in non food heavy cities is cottages for me.
