Where do I put patches?

I am downloading patch "j" and I forget where to put the patch. Where do I put it?

When you run the patcher, it should automatically supply the correct location. This will normally be: "[path]\Beyond the Sword\Mods", where [path] is the path to your install of Civ IV. If the patcher is trying to use the wrong location then you'll need to change it manually. Note that you should not tell it to install to "[path]\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Fall from Heaven 2", as this will not install the patch correctly.
