I'll be using a less detailed version in the future.
 
I think it might not really that bad, although details will be lost as the city tooltip is about 22x22 pixel in practice.

Anyway, is there anything I can help in icon, music and research?

EDIT : I draft an icon for Aceh. Problem is Aceh "best color" is combination of a shade/tint of red and white. Which is the most commonly used in real life civilization and many modded civ.
 
That may be true. I think the smaller alpha could be just an outline of this. It probably look less ugly then.

Also, I just saw Gatourak's civ icons. I actually wish Hideyoshi used the seal with different color. There's nothing wrong to share icon with other civ...

Did you need any map done? To lighten your workload :)
 
I've got all the maps covered - what would be great right now is options for the music. I might be able to handle icons for UUs and UBs, but I can't say I've done it before.

Also, I think I've got some sort of grip on XML now.

Awesome news, I know that all these civs are still a long way off but I wanted to wish you the best of luck in getting at least a few of them completed. I'm not sure why, but the colours and designs chosen for the icons make me especially hyped for many of these civs.

Keep up the good work!

I am not really a fan of putting national anthem as a civ's theme, and prefer other patriotic song to represent them instead.

His songs are widely popular among the people, they are, "Tugan el", "Kazakhstan Saltanat", "Almatym – Astanam", "Kimaymyn senі", "Aul kesh"", "May zhyr", "Kyz ben zhіgіt aitysy", "Zhana zhyl keshіnde", "Sulu eken Almatynyn kyzdary", "Aynagul", "Kazakhstan zhastarynyn marchy", "Naziko", "Shopan zhyry", "Beybіtshіlіk saktalady" they are works that had contributed significantly to the song heritage of the Kazakh composer's art.


Also, stay clear of putting anything with title named "Borat" as theme if you want to make people take this mod seriously and avoid Kazakh's outrage as Kuwait shooting event organizer realized they shouldn't download the video few minutes before using it

Both composed by Derek Fiechter and/or Brandon Fiechter. They allow you to use their music in almost any work as long as you credit him (I would suggest asking them first BTW)

Shogun 2 : Total war soundtrack (without Fall of Samurai) is also a good choice.

I think putting this one in soundtrack folder (without using it in game) would be nice alternative in case if there are Basara fan out there. :D

That's because it was never scaled down properly, I remade the alphas to test the theory and the symbol actually looked quite nice.
 
I've been fooling around with SAI, and managed to pull this off for Aceh.

I think I can help with the other LS, but I kinda want to finishes this up first.
