World Congress - AI Cheats

Hi all

Well, I have been playing Portugal and did really well by discovering the entire world and thus all its civilizations and states early on in the mid 1300's .

At that time, I was wondering why the game wouldn't give me the world congress bonus with the amount of votes but figured it just may be announced later on.

Then suddenly, in 1510 the game says that Egypt discovered all civilizations , something that really spoiled a big part of my goal to win this game and now annoys me greatly .

Any thoughts?

I believe that the founder of the World Congress is the one who finds all civilizations first AND researches printing press.

Civ A met all civs, but hasn't researched printing press.
Civ B has researched PP, but has yet to meet one more civ.

Civ A gets to be host if he researches printing press, and civ B gets to be host if he finds the last missing civ.

In this case Egypt might've researched Printing PRess before you.

But don't worry, every time more than half of the civs enter a new era, a new host is chosen. Make sure you have enough city state allies because in industrial and forward, they get to vote too!
