Hello everyone! I'm quite new to this game, and when I was met with a bitter game over screen on turn 500 I had no idea what just happened.
Yup, I just lost because of time my first Standard map/Prince game, a mechanics I had completely forgotten about!
Making this worse, I am one turn away from finishing the SS Engine... So here's my challenge to you all: can you finish the spaceship in time? Can you build a civilization that will stand the test of time?

Here's what's happened in the game, and later what I've tried, and what you might want to avoid should you take the challenge.
I've played through from the last savefile I have countless times. Here's what fails
I therefore seek the help of more experienced players, before I go crazy trying to beat this map
Have fun!

Spoiler :
I randomed Arabia, and started right next to Maria I, whose aggressive settling soon made it hard for me to expand past 3 cities, controlling a wide gulf. Picking Liberty didn't help much, possibly because I'm a noob.
I raced ahead of everyone else in science, only hindered by Maria herself trying to lay claim to my terrirory, to no avail. Picked Rationalism and some points in Commerce in the meanwhile.
When time came to pick an ideology, I was first to choose Order. My pals Poland and Sweden quickly followed suit, only to be wiped off the face of the earth by Idonesia and Shoshoni (autocracy), which I held off my land with nukes.
Now, on turn 472, Autocracy is about to become the world ideology, and I still have to research Mobile tactics and Particle Phisics (5+12 turns) before I can build the engine (9 turns) and launch it to space. The grand total is 499 turns right? Well, actually, no.

Spoiler :
With Autocracy being anacted World Ideology in 6 turns, the empire enters a revolutionary wave and happiness drops to -17. The best course of action is probably wait 2 more turns to get an extra policy from culture, then change.
This will befriend virtually everyone on the map, and provide the aluminum I had to give up for peace with Indonesia.
On the other hand, immediately changing to Order and befriending Maria will prevent here from stealing a crucial plot of land connecting Medina to Mecca, which she will do in a few turns. The key seems manipulating her to wage war on Indonesia.
Gold is plentiful (>1k, enough to afford a Spaceship factory in Medina) and a Great Merchant is underway in 1/2 turns (he will provide enough gold to set up additional caravan/cargo ship routes). A Great Scientist spawns slightly too late (4 turns) and a Great Engineer also, who is useless without keeping Order (hurry spaceship parts tenet)
Damasco (far left side of the image) is kinda useless. It's building a random Sidney opera house, and will be beat to it by Indonesia. I've tried switching it to produce science, but it doesn't cut it.
I've also tried working some last-second trading posts, also not making it
